He begins his search as a challenge from his friend to define “What is God”? and why is he resistant to even considering changing religions. Along the way, he finds the reason for his resistance is more than answering the why he can’t accept Jesus question. His journey for answers finds major doctrinal differences between the faiths, and his research finds an enormous lack of knowledge both faiths have of each other. In perhaps the most philosophical chapter in the book, he answers his friend's question, "What is God."
